Quiz: What your Halloween Habits Say About You

Why not check out your Halloween Habits…

Yes, another silly quiz to tickle your fancy!

My Halloween Habits

The scariest thing on Halloween is you! You definitely don’t want any kids in costumes crossing your path – and you’re willing to scare away any who do.
Sneaky and devious, people should really watch out for you. You are usually underestimated and forgotten.Your inner child is stubborn and a bit bossy. You truly fear the dark side of humanity. You are a true misanthrope. You’re logical, rational, and not easily effected. Not a lot scares you… especially when it comes to the paranormal. You are a total overachiever and workaholic. You’re the type of person who plans their elaborate Halloween costume weeks in advance.

Secrets of longevity

Seems like women are topping the longevity stakes with reports of lifestyle having a major impact on how long we live. High-flying professional women have the highest life expectancy of all at 85.1 years. So if education and lifestyle do have an impact then the other story of the day in the UK that the much maligned WAG‘s (Wives and Girlfriends) should be seen as role models to kids may have a little bit of truth in it.

fencing

So if you believe all of this and want to live longer get an education and then either marry a footballer or become an accountant, else don’t believe any of this stuff and go look at the list of the oldest people – there’s doesn’t seem to be one accountant in the list.

Perhaps longevity is not just linked to career as most of these people have spent more of their lives being something other than an occupation pigeon-hole. Jeanne Calment , who at 122 was the world’s oldest person took up fencing at the age of 85 and attributed her longevity to pouring olive oil on her food and her skin and who uttered the immortal words, “”I’ve only got one wrinkle, and I’m sitting on it”. Although it does sounds like she had a WAG type lifestyle…

Purring Ravens

Ravens have exerted a powerful hold over the psyche for centuries with people either in awe of them or fearful of them. They have been revered as dieties known as the Creative Trickster God in Native American Cultures and are today an icon for the Goths. They can live for about 70 years and are known for their intelligence and a character that can remind us a little of ourselves. They are suspicious, shy, nervous but also fearless, cheeky, incredibly playful and devoted partners.

They slide down snowy hills on their backs – just for the hell of it. They happily tease wolves yanking their tails whilst they feeding raptors. They make so many different noises like gurgling, purring, barking, squawking and talking – check out this video of Terry in England.

If like me you find yourself very curious about these birds, check out this enlightening book Mind of the Raven by Bernt Heinrich and you will never look at a raven in the same way. Next time listen for the purring, really.

Animal Antics – Tiger Piglets

There are many challenges with fostering piglets when you are a Bengal tigress. The first major one is getting those tiger skin coats on each morning. Coats were not required as the tigress Say Mai, at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Chonburi, Thailand was herself suckled by a pig until she was 4 months old. This zoo is known for strange pairings and have a sow sucking tiger cubs. Check out this Fortean Times Cryptozoology video .

Tiger piglet

There was a story going round that the Tigress was depressed after loosing her own cubs but this is all nonsense, the pairing were made to entertain the zoo’s visitors. The same with the sow and the tiger cubs. Zoo’s have never been a favorite place of mine.

But do vampires even love? And would the vampire version of you even be you?
It’s all too much to contemplate. Luckily, the chances of you ever becoming a vampire are astronomically low.
